Right　after　the　catastrophic　explosions　in　Beirut　Port，　the　Starbucks　Foundation　has　committed　＄100，000　to　support　disaster　relief　and　rebuilding　efforts　on　the　ground.　The　funding　will　be　distributed　to　a　number　of　organizations　with　the　goal　of　giving　immediate　relief　and　supporting　the　city’s　recovery，　with　a　specific　emphasis　on　food　and　shelter.

The　Starbucks　Foundation　will　immediately　donate　＄75，000　to　CARE　International　who　are　working　to　provide　shelter　and　other　immediate　assistance　to　homeless　families，　then　＄25，000　to　World　Central　Kitchen　who　are　serving　more　than　10，000　meals　daily　to　people　at　local　hospitals，　volunteers　and　community　organizations.
